Edit Staff Members

Adding Staff Members

• Go to the Office program and go to “Staff” > “Staff Members”

• Press the “Add” button in the top middle.

• Now you can change the “Staff ID” number, this can be any number between 1-9998.

  • Enter in the First Name, and then the Last Name. As you fill it out, it will automatically add these into the Report Name, and POS Name. Please note: if you are assigning a staff member with Back Office access, the report name will be the user name they log in with. Also the Report and POS names need to be unique, so change them to include an initial.

  • IMPORTANT: Now is your time to change your staff ID number for the staff you are adding, once you press save, it is locked in for that staff member and you will not be able to change it.

  • Go to the “Security” drop down box, and select an appropriate security level. For example; Level of Staff is used for those who do not have access to the POS besides clocking in/out, and Level 5 is for Managers.

  • Press “Program” next to “Regular Password” it’ll prompt you to fill in a password twice. This is going to be a 1 to 4 digit PIN that will be needed to log in alongside their staff ID. Fill out both fields with the same number to confirm the password. Then press “Accept”.

  • Passwords are optional, so if you do not wish to add a password for a staff member, you will not have to. However, in order to have someone log into the Office program, you will need to assign that staff member a password.

  • Go to the “5-Department” tab and press “New”. This will create a new line for you to assign the staff member to a department.

  • Select the blank area in the new line that was added, it’ll prompt you to select the department.

  • Go to the “Regular” column and assign them an hourly pay rate.

  • Press “Save”. At this point, you’ll have added the employee, and it’ll take

you to the next available Staff ID. You can add the next staff member, or

press “View” to review your staff.

  • This is the minimum that you will need, you can use the other fields to

input other important information like availability, personal info, and payroll info.
