How to enable your Google Food Ordering Button and Preferred Providers
In this article we will walk through how to enable your "Order Online" button.
Once launched on Order with Google, if this setting is not enabled, customers will not be able to order direct from your restaurant when googling for food near them or for your restaurant.
Please follow the steps below to ensure proper setup in your Google My Business settings.
- Sign in to Google My Business. If you have multiple locations, select the location you want to manage.
- In the left menu, select Food ordering.
- Toggle the Order Online Button to “On”
- Set your Heartland Online Order site as your preferred provider
Reduce fees to third-parties paid by you or your customers, by removing specific providers behind the Google Order Online button.
Contact Google My Business support to request the additional third-party provider’s links are removed
Partners should use the following language when requesting this:
"Please remove the provider buttons on Order with Google that are not 'Direct Order'"
The request must be filled out with the email address that is associated with the GMB account
Note: These links work independently, and don't affect food orders submitted through Google Search and Maps, The Ordering app, or your website
