Genius for Enterprise is the third and largest of the three Genius product lines, launched in the United States on 10 September 2025. It followed Genius for Restaurant and Genius for Retail earlier the same year.

Who it is for

Global Payments describes it as purpose built for:

• Quick service and fast casual restaurants operating at scale
• Sports and entertainment venues
• Foodservice management environments such as corporate campuses, schools and healthcare cafeterias
• Vending services and multi location entertainment venues

The scale behind it

• 51,000 restaurants worldwide run the Global Payments enterprise technology.
• Approximately 160 stadiums and venues use it, including every major professional sports league in the United States, college football stadiums, and football stadiums across Europe.

The platform underneath

Genius for Enterprise is the platform previously sold as Xenial, and before that SICOM. The branding changed. The underlying applications and their URLs did not. Anyone who has worked on a Xenial site is already working on Genius for Enterprise.

How it differs from the other two lines

Different product entirely. Genius for Restaurant and Genius for Retail are the small and mid market products. Genius for Enterprise is a separate enterprise platform with its own portal, its own data model and its own vocabulary. A setting in one does not exist in the others, and experience with one does not transfer directly.

Global Payments has said the enhanced configurability of the enterprise platform lets them bring it to customers who do not have the scale of a typical enterprise customer, so expect to see it in places that would once have been sold Restaurant.
