The Attributes/Tags screen includes controls that enable you to define and configure menu item attributes and tags. Attributes are descriptive terms that define the quality and characteristic of certain menu items, such as “Award Winning”, “Contains Peanuts”, “Gluten Free”, “Vegetarian”, “Kosher”, “Hot”, “Mild”, or “Spicy”.

To access the Attributes/Tags screen, log into the Admin Console, select an appropriate account. In the Admin Console’s Main Menu, click Menu, then click Attributes/Tags. In the Attributes/Tags screen, click New to create a new menu attribute.

Tag Settings Area

Name: Type a descriptive name for the new attribute.

Override Button Color: Click to choose one of the pre-set colors or choose a color then click the box in the top right corner and use the white circle and slider tool to customize the color.

Assigned Items: In this list, you can select one or more menu items to associate with this attribute. To delete a menu item from this list, click its Delete button.

Attribute Settings Area

Visible to Customers: If you select this check box, the POS will display this attribute within its various menus, making it visible to customers.

Set Icon: If you click the Set Icon box, the program opens the Change Icon window. To add a graphic to the icon collection, click Upload Image (+), browse your local drive, and select an appropriate graphic. The program will upload to graphic to the icon collection. If you double-click a graphic in the collection, the program will display that graphic as an icon on the menu buttons of all menu items associated with attribute.

To remove a graphic from the collection, select the graphic and click Remove Image. To close the Change Icon window, click Close.

Available Online: If you select this check box, this attribute will be visible to customers when they order items in the Online Ordering website.

In-Store E-Commerce: If you select this check box, this attribute will be visible to customers when they order items in Kiosk or Skip the Line.

Description: If necessary, you can enter a detailed description of the attribute in this box.
