These are the details that most often delay a NextGen install. Read them before you unbox.
Some of the USB-C cables have small blue or black plastic pull tabs on the ends. They give you leverage to remove the cable from inside the ELO housing later. Do not cut them off.
After you connect and power on the stand, it shows the Network screen straight away and waits. If you do not start selecting a network before it times out, the device drops to a blue screen reading No content is configured for this device.
That is not a fault. Restart the device manually and be ready at the Network screen this time.
After connecting everything, run the MB5500 FW and Enable MultiClient Input utilities. They update firmware and pull down the ELOView update utility. The device then shows a blue screen saying setup is complete, with a spinning processing icon.
This normally takes 5 to 15 minutes. If the device has not restarted itself after 15 minutes, restart it manually. Do not sit and wait past that.
Before signing in to the Genius app. See Set the XC23 screen density to 160 DPI.
