Each POS station has to be paired with the card reader it will drive.

Steps

1. On the Room screen, tap Options, then Settings, then Payment Terminals.
2. The screen shows a tile for every payment terminal on the location network. Terminals available to this device show in light green.
3. Tap the tile of the terminal you want. The POS attempts to connect.

Verify the connection

1. Return to the Room screen.
2. Tap the Card Reader icon.
3. A panel lists the status of every card reader. A successful pairing reads CONNECTED.

If the terminal is not listed

• Confirm the reader is on the same network and subnet as the POS. Check both in the device Info screen. See Read the device Info screen.
• A reader on the guest network will not appear.
• Confirm the reader has finished booting. Give it a couple of minutes after power on.
• Check the terminal is not already claimed by another station.
