PAX S300 - Factory Reset

S300 Factory Reset

  1. Power cycle the terminal
  2. During the self-test, press the Func key then press cancel
  3. From the menu that is displayed, choose "Remote Download"
  4. Choose "New Download"
  5. Next choose the communications method, use TCP/IP
  6. In the remote IP, enter “216.238.144.195”
  7. Enter “8582” for the port number
  8. Enter the terminal ID 30030030
  9. Choose Yes if "Auto get local IP address (DHCP)" prompted
  10. Power cycle the terminal
  11. During the self-test, press the Func key then press cancel
  12. From the menu that is displayed, choose "Remote Download"
  13. Choose "New Download"
  14. Next choose the communications method, use TCP/IP
  15. In the remote IP, enter “216.238.144.195”
  16. Enter “8582” for the port number
  17. Enter the terminal ID 30030040
  18. Choose Yes if "Auto get local IP address (DHCP)" prompted

*Reboot one last time, just like a normal reboot.
