Computer Names

• Back Office = DDSERVER

• Stations = POS1 – POS?? (Make sure computer name matches DD)

• Handhelds = HH1 – HH?? (go into IOS Settings, General, About, Name, and

  rename to match DD name)

  IP Schemes

• Router = 192.168 .7 1

• DHCP = 192.168.7.100 - 199

• DDSERVER = 192.168.7.70

• Stations = 192.168.7. 71 – 99

• Printers = 192.168.7.201 – 240

• Handhelds = Leave DHCP

Usernames & Passwords

• DDSERVER & Stations = User: POS Password: 9899

• Handhelds = User: HH1 – HH?? Password: pos123456

• Itunes = User: support@posspecialists.com Password: Pos123456

• Restrictions in IOS = Password: 9899

• Unifi Software = Setup admin Username: POS Password: 9899

• WIFI = Restaurants Initials follow by a dash and the letters POS

(i.e. for restaurant named “Home Room” make SSID: HR-POS) Password: Make

unique. Once setup store SSID and password in tigerpaw.

POS Change Settings

• Credit Card Verification Mode = PAYMENT

• Help Button = NO

• Print C&C Check = NO

• Gift Card Verification Mode = PAYMENT

• Prep C&C Check Before Payment = NO

• Click Style = Click on Touch

• Display Line Percent Spacing = 40

• Print Check on New Tab = NO (Optional depending on site)

  Dip Switches for Printers

• Serial Thermal = Row 1 – 7 ON (all others off) Row 2 – All Off

• Network Thermal = Row 1 – All Off, Row 2 – 8 ON (all others off)
