Set up terminal for RDP pos session

Set up terminal for RDP pos session

  1. On terminal run MSTSC.exe
  2. Enter name of server
  3. Select "Allow to save credentials"
  4. Select "always trust" if prompted
  5. Save as Digital Dining on the desktop
  6. Test to make sure session opens up flawlessly without prompts
  7. Right click shortcut and make the following edits in notepad:
    Keyboardhook:0
    Displayconnectionbar:0

       Add shortcut to startup folder as well as desktop

    1. In the POS.INI file the POS is using, set the following:
      1. Card swipe time interval for desktop=300
