Unifi Router Setup Guide
Network
- Gateway IP: 192.168.7.1
- Disable Auto-Scale network
- DHCP Pool: 192.168.7.100-192.168.7.199
Wifi
- SSID: Sitename-POS
- Password: Random easy password from DinoPass
- Set channel widths to 20 (2.4GHz) & 40 (5GHz)
Updates
- Under control panel > Updates make sure all updates are enabled
- Complete all outstanding updates
Additional
- Make sure all additional applications under control panel applications (protect, access, etc) are uninstalled.
Transfer Ownership
- Go to control panel > Console
- Select Transfer Ownership
- Type in support@posspecialists.com
- Transfer device and accept.
- Device will need to be accepted.
Guest Networks
Guest networks require approval before implementing.
