Step by Step: How to connect Genius Digital Menu Boards

Setting up LG Business connect and Genius Menu Board

Follow the steps below to properly connect and configure a new TV.

Step-by-Step Instructions for the TV using the remote control. 

Beware that one remote will control all TVs

  1. Press the Settings button on your LG remote (gear icon) to open the main Settings menu.
  2. Navigate to and select "All Settings" (or "Settings" > deeper options, depending on exact webOS version).
  3. Go to "Ez Setting" (or "General" / "Installation" section if Ez Setting is nested there).
  4. Select "LG Business Cloud" (it may appear under solutions, ConnectedCare, or cloud services).
  5. Choose the Installation Type if prompted (select the appropriate option for your setup, e.g., standard/cloud registration).
  6. Select "Installation Code" (or "Enter Installation Code").
  7. Enter your 6-digit business/installation code using the remote/on-screen keyboard.
    1. The code is: 388445
    2. Confirm or proceed after entry. The TV will fetch and display the corresponding workspace/business information.
  8. Verify the information:
    1. If the code is valid/registered, the workspace details will show correctly.
    2. If it shows "Unknown" or invalid, double-check the code and internet connection, then retry.
  9. Select "Confirm Installation Code" (or equivalent confirmation step).
  10. Select "Install" to begin installing the LG Business Cloud solution.
    1. The TV may download components, show progress, and restart automatically or prompt for one.
Optional - after restart/installation:
  1. Return to the LG Business Cloud menu if needed to check status (e.g., "Workspace", "Version", "Server Status" – it should show as connected).
  2. The TV should now be registered and remotely manageable via the LG Business Cloud portal.
